- I have used this often. It's pretty good. Got it from the Feb. 94
- Gourmet. Imagine that!
- Sloppy Joes
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c chopped onion
- 1 c ketchup
- 1 TB white vinegar
- 1 TB lemon juice
- 1 TB Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 TB dark brown sugar
- 4 buns
-
- Brown meat and onions until no longer pink. Be sure to break up the
- meat. (I add garlic, too. One clove.) Combine all of the liquids and add
- to pan. Cook, uncovered, for about thirty minutes on low heat. It should
- be thick. Serve on the buns.
- Enjoy!
